Chandigarh, April 11, 2025: In a first-of-its-kind initiative, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will meet directly with farmers at the ‘Sarkar-Kisan Milni’ on April 12 at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, to push for sustainable agricultural reforms and address groundwater concerns.The dialogue aims to curb the state's rapidly depleting water table by urging farmers to adopt low water-consuming, high-yielding paddy varieties and modern sowing techniques.
