Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): A long-standing drinking water dispute in Chanaut village near Hansi has been resolved following the intervention of Union Minister for Power, Housing, and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal. Following the Union Minister's announcement and departmental approval for a new four-inch "T-connection" to be installed from the main water pipeline, residents of the village announced the end of their ongoing protest.
