Haryana Cabinet Approves Amendments to Punjab Police Rules for Constable and SI Recruitment

Chandigarh, December 8 — The Haryana Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, has approved amendments to the Punjab Police Rules, 1934, to streamline direct recruitment for constable and sub-inspector posts in the Haryana Police. The modified rules will be notified as the Punjab Police (Haryana Amendment) Rules, 2025.Under the revised framework, Rule 12.16 of the 1934 Rules has been updated.
