Chandigarh, September 29, 2025: During a special session of the Punjab Assembly, MLA and former Cabinet Minister Pargat Singh raised a strong demand for registering an FIR against the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) and the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) over alleged flood mismanagement in the state.Addressing the assembly from Jalandhar Cantonment, Singh accused both agencies of betraying Punjab.
