Islamabad, April 23, 2025 — A day after the horrifying terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam left 26 people dead, Pakistan issued its first official response, claiming it had “nothing to do with it.” Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif dismissed any involvement, calling the massacre a “home-grown act” and reaffirming Pakistan’s rejection of terrorism “in all its forms.”The attack occurred on April 22 near the Baisaran meadow, a popular tourist destination in Pahalgam.
