Post Operation Sindoor, first Sikh Jatha leaves for Pakistan to celebrate Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Parkash Purb at Nankana Sahib

National Times Bureau :- After Operation Sindoor, the first Sikh Jatha set out for Attari on Tuesday to cross over into Pakistan for the celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Parkash Purb at Gurdwara Janamsthan Nankana Sahib. The sacred occasion will be observed on November 5. This year, the Central Government has granted permission exclusively to Indian citizens to participate in the pilgrimage, unlike previous years when NRIs were also allowed. National Times Bureau :- A jatha (group) of Sikh devotees organised by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee will leave for Pakistan on November 4, to participate in the celebrations marking the Parkash Purb (birth anniversary) of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib. According to SGPC officials, passports of the pilgrims who have received visas will  be distributed at the SGPC office on October 31 and November 1.
