Chandigarh, June 2 – The Haryana government has officially launched sunflower procurement from June 1 in 17 designated mandis spread across five districts. The procurement process, managed by the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department, will continue until June 30.Food and Civil Supplies Minister Rajesh Nagar stated that the central government has approved procurement of up to 8,883 metric tonnes of sunflower under the Price Support Scheme (PSS).
