National Times Bureau :- The Punjab government has denied parole to Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh who is detained under the National Security Act (NSA) and lodged in Assam’s Dibrugarh jail, to attend the winter session of Parliament from December 1 to 19. “Deputy commissioner Dalwinderjit Singh has rejected Amritpal’s parole application, citing potential law and order issues after receiving a report from the district police. A detailed order has been passed in this regard,” the official, who didn’t wish to be named, added. This is the second time that the Punjab government has declined parole to the jailed MP.…

National Times Bureau :- Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh’s mother Balwinder Kaur was stopped by the immigration authorities at theDelhi airport on Friday moments before she was scheduled to board a flight to Canada. According to family members, she was informed at the airport that a lookout circular (LOC) had been issued against her by Amritsar Rural Police. Balwinder, who reportedly had no prior knowledge of travel restrictions, arrived at the airport around noon for her 3.30 pm flight.
