New Delhi, November 23,2025: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday dismissed speculation surrounding changes to Chandigarh’s administrative structure, confirming that the Central government has no plan to introduce any bill on the issue in the upcoming Winter Session of Parliament.In a detailed clarification, the ministry said that the ongoing proposal is limited to easing the process of law-making for the Union Territory.
