SC Farmers to Get Tractor Subsidy of up to ₹3 Lakh in Haryana

Chandigarh, January 12: The Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department has invited online applications for the Tractor Subsidy Scheme for the year 2025–26 to empower farmers belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category. Eligible farmers can apply for the scheme through the department’s portal www.agriharyana.gov.in till January 15. A government spokesperson said that Scheduled Caste farmers registered on the “Meri Fasal Mera Byora (MFMB)” portal and owning agricultural land are eligible to apply for a subsidy of up to ₹3 lakh per unit on tractors with a capacity of 45 horsepower (HP) or more. Chandigarh, March 3, 2025 – Haryana’s Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Shyam Singh Rana, has urged farmers who are not registered under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) to report their crop damage due to hailstorms on the Haryana Compensation Portal within the next 72 hours. This will enable agricultural officers to assess the damage on-site and ensure fair compensation.
