Ottawa, June 12, 2025: Canada has officially extended an invitation to the United Arab Emirates to participate in the upcoming 51st G7 Leaders’ Summit, scheduled for June 15–17 in Kananaskis, Alberta. The Canadian Press, cited by CTV News and CP24, reported the invitation though Abu Dhabi has not yet confirmed attendance by President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan .This invitation comes as part of Canada’s broader push to widen the G7’s outreach to include influential non-member states.
