Imphal (Manipur), February 10, 2025: In a major success against insurgent activities in Manipur, the Indian Army, in collaboration with the Assam Rifles, Manipur Police, and other security forces, apprehended eight militants and recovered 25 sophisticated weapons along with large quantities of warlike stores and ammunition. The operations, driven by specific intelligence inputs, were conducted across multiple districts, including Kakching, Thoubal, Tengnoupal, Bishnupur, Imphal East, and Chandel.The arrested insurgents are reportedly affiliated with banned militant outfits like the Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) and the Manipur Naga Revolutionary Front (MNRF).
