Chandigarh, February 15, 2025 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that the Northern Region Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute in Hisar will now issue Central Motor Vehicles Rules (CMVR) certification for agricultural tractors. This move will benefit agricultural manufacturers across North India by streamlining the certification process.Additionally, a Custom Hiring Centre has been inaugurated at the institute, allowing small and marginal farmers to rent advanced farming equipment such as rotavators, super seeders, land levelers, ploughs, and trolleys.
