Chandigarh, December 2, 2025 — Rail services across Punjab are expected to face disruption on December 5 as the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (India), Punjab Chapter, has announced a two-hour statewide Rail Roko protest. The agitation will take place from 1 pm to 3 pm at 26 locations spread across 19 districts.The protest aims to press for several demands, including the cancellation of the draft Electricity Amendment Bill 2025, withdrawal of prepaid electricity meters and reinstatement of old meters.
