Chandigarh, November 30, 2025 — The contractual employees of Punjab Roadways and PRTC ended their strike on Sunday after a meeting with Punjab Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar brought a breakthrough in the standoff over the kilometre scheme.Officials said the state government has agreed to procure 1,000 new buses, addressing one of the major concerns raised by employees.
