Haryana Transfers ₹543.66 Crore Directly to Farmers’ Accounts in Kharif Procurement Season

Chandigarh, October 4: The Haryana government has transferred ₹543.66 crore directly into the bank accounts of farmers under the ongoing Kharif procurement season 2025–26, ensuring prompt payment at the Minimum Support Price (MSP).According to the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department, paddy procurement in the state is being conducted through the Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal. So far, paddy has been procured from 63,356 registered farmers across Haryana.A departmental spokesperson stated that a total of 8,92,943.07 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived in the state’s mandis so far. Chandigarh, September 10 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reviewed preparations for the upcoming Kharif procurement season in a high-level meeting with administrative officials at the Civil Secretariat.
