Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): In a major policing success, Punjab Police has secured the arrest of fugitive Amritpal Singh Mehron, the prime suspect in the killing of social media figure Kanchan Kumari, following his deportation from the Middle East. Officials said the accused was brought back to India after coordinated efforts involving the Counter Intelligence Wing’s Overseas Fugitive Tracking and Extradition Cell (OFTEC) and central agencies.
