Tehran/New Delhi (National Times): As part of its expanding humanitarian mission in Iran, India has decided to evacuate citizens of Nepal and Sri Lanka alongside its own nationals under the ongoing Operation Sindhu. This move comes after formal appeals from both South Asian countries and reflects India's growing role as a regional stabilizer. In the early hours of Saturday, a special Air India flight from Ashgabat, staging ground for the operation, landed in New Delhi at 3:00 AM, bringing home more evacuees.
