Toronto (Rajeev Sharma) : The Indian High Commission in Ottawa has issued an important advisory for Indian nationals living in Canada, especially international students, following a surge in fraudulent calls and emails impersonating Canadian authorities.The advisory comes amid multiple complaints from Indian citizens and persons of Indian origin who have received fake communications regarding visa status, immigration issues, job offers, or refunds of application fees. In many of these cases, victims were falsely accused of being involved in criminal or fraudulent activities.
