New Delhi, June 27, 2025 — Post offices across India will begin accepting digital payments from August as the Department of Posts completes the rollout of a new IT application integrating advanced digital transaction features, official sources confirmed.Until now, post offices have struggled to accept digital payments because their accounts were not synced with the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) system.
