Following a fresh forecast from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting heavy rainfall from October 4 to 7 across Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu, the Ranjit Sagar Dam has released additional water into the Ravi river.
