Chandigarh, February 27, 2025: The Haryana State Election Commission has decided that in places where only by-elections are being held, voting will be conducted using a single Electronic Voting Machine (EVM). Chandigarh, February 11, 2025: The Haryana State Election Commission has announced the schedule for municipal elections, bringing the Model Code of Conduct into immediate effect. State Election Commissioner Dhanpat Singh confirmed that the elections will be conducted for Mayors and ward members in eight Municipal Corporations, along with Presidents and ward members in four Municipal Councils and 21 Municipal Committees.
