Chandigarh, August 25, 2025: Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini on Monday defended the state’s farmer compensation portal, stating that it ensures the safety and welfare of farmers while opposition attempts to discredit it have failed.Speaking during the ongoing Monsoon Session of the Haryana Assembly, CM Saini said the portal allows citizens, especially farmers, to directly access benefits of welfare schemes at their doorstep. “Earlier, compensation funds often went missing before reaching the intended recipients.
