Chandigarh, December 16: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday announced that Hansi will be made the 23rd district of the state. Addressing a large development rally in Hansi, the Chief Minister said the official notification for district formation will be issued within a week, after which Hansi will also acquire district status from a revenue administration perspective.The announcement drew an enthusiastic response from the crowd, with people raising slogans and expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister for fulfilling the long-pending demand.
