Ayodhya, October 19, 2025 — The temple town of Ayodhya illuminated itself in divine splendour as two new world records were set during this year’s Deepotsav celebrations. A staggering 26.17 lakh diyas were lit at one location, while 2,128 people performed aarti together, creating a breathtaking spectacle of devotion and unity.According to the Uttar Pradesh government, representatives from the Guinness Book of World Records officially verified the achievements using drone technology to count the diyas.
