Chandigarh, June 25, 2025 — Punjab Police continues its aggressive crackdown under the ongoing anti-drug mission ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ as 153 drug smugglers were arrested on the 116th day of operations. The massive state-wide action led to the recovery of 1.8 kg of heroin, 2.4 kg of opium, and ₹28,890 in drug money.The arrests, carried out under the supervision of Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav, took place simultaneously across all 28 police districts.
