Punjab Government Appoints Nodal Officers to Oversee Flood Relief and Rehabilitation

National Times Bureau :- The Punjab government has appointed nodal chairmen and members to streamline relief operations and damage assessment in flood-affected villages across the state. Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian said the devastating floods had caused extensive losses, prompting the state to identify 2,303 villages in urgent need of support and rehabilitation. The appointed representatives will work in coordination with district administrations and gazetted officers to ensure effective execution of relief measures.
