Pune, May 30, 2025: In a defining moment for gender inclusivity in the Indian Armed Forces, the National Defence Academy (NDA) in Khadakwasla, Pune, celebrated the graduation of its first co-educational batch, which included 17 pioneering women cadets. These cadets passed out alongside over 300 male counterparts from the 148th course, marking a historic chapter in the institution’s illustrious history.The landmark inclusion of women at the NDA came after the Supreme Court’s 2021 order that paved the way for their admission.
