Chandigarh, December 10 — The Haryana government has accelerated its urban development push by releasing ₹1,700 crore from the External Development Charges (EDC) fund to the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) and several metropolitan development authorities across the state. The funds aim to fast-track key infrastructure projects such as roads, water supply, sewerage systems and transport connectivity in major urban estates.Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced the allocation during a press briefing at the Civil Secretariat, reaffirming the state’s commitment to providing world-class urban infrastructure.
