Waterloo (Rajeev Sharma) — A major joint-forces investigation, dubbed "Project Deception Lake," has led to the arrest of six individuals and the seizure of illegal narcotics valued at more than $842,000. The multi-jurisdictional operation targeted an organized trafficking network moving drugs across Ontario and exporting methamphetamine to international markets. The investigation was a collaborative effort led by the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service (SSMPS) and the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with additional support from the RCMP, CBSA, and municipal police from York and Woodstock.
