National Times Bureau :- In a major move to strengthen healthcare in border districts, the Punjab government has announced an additional monthly incentive of ₹40,000 for specialist doctors posted in these areas. This amount will be paid over and above their regular salary, starting immediately. Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh said that the decision aims to ensure better access to quality medical services for people living in remote border areas.
