Dhaka [Bangladesh], October 18, 2025: Flight operations at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport were suspended on Saturday after a massive fire broke out in the airport’s cargo section, according to bdnews.Officials said the fire began near Gate 8 around 2:30 pm. Nine firefighting units were initially dispatched to control the flames, while 15 more joined shortly after.
