New Delhi/Shimla, November 10, 2025 — Following the powerful explosion near Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi, security has been heightened in Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh. Director General of Police (DGP) Ashok Tiwari has issued directives to all district Superintendents of Police (SPs) to increase vigilance and tighten border checks.According to sources, all vehicles entering Himachal from neighboring states are being thoroughly inspected at border checkpoints. Police have been instructed to maintain strict surveillance on suspicious persons and vehicles.
