National Times Bureau :- Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who is serving life imprisonment in cases related to the sexual assault of two sadhvis and the murder of journalist Ram Chander Chhatrapati, was released from Rohtak’s Sunaria Jail on a 40-day parole on Monday. After receiving parole around 11.30 am, Ram Rahim left for the Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters in Sirsa under tight security. National Times Bureau :- The Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed PGIMER, Chandigarh, to conduct immediate counseling of a minor girl allegedly held in unlawful custody at Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa, by her mother. The order came while hearing a habeas corpus petition filed by the girl’s father, Cypriano Britto, a resident of Goa. Justice Subhash Mehla stated that counseling must be carried out to assess the custody-related concerns and that a proper schedule be communicated to both parties’ counsels.
