Chandigarh, October 9: Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao announced that free platelet facilities, including Single Donor Platelets (SDP), are available in all government hospitals across the state. She added that if required, the government would also procure platelets from private blood banks. The minister assured that the dengue situation in the state is fully under control and constant monitoring is underway.Speaking to the media at her official residence in Chandigarh, Rao shared that 65,707 samples have been tested so far, out of which 1,041 have been confirmed as dengue cases, with no reported deaths.
