Cabinet Clears Phase-IV A of Delhi Metro, 13 New Stations to Boost Capital’s Urban Mobility

New Delhi, December 24, 2025: The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved Phase-IV A of the Delhi Metro Rail Project, marking a significant expansion of the capital’s mass rapid transit network and giving a fresh push to sustainable urban mobility in the National Capital Region. The approved phase will add nearly 16 kilometres to the Delhi Metro network over the next three years, with the construction of 13 new stations.
