Chandigarh, October 8, 2025: In a major boost to Haryana’s industrial and technological growth, the state government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Japan’s renowned company Daikin Industries Limited in Osaka on Wednesday. Under the agreement, Daikin will invest ₹1,000 crore to establish a new Research and Development (R&D) center in Haryana, creating significant employment opportunities for local youth.The MoU was signed in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, who is currently leading a high-level delegation to Japan to promote foreign investment and expand global industrial activities in the state.
