Gurdaspur, May 9– Amid escalating India-Pakistan border tensions, a powerful explosion shook Chhichhrewaal village in Kahnuwan block of Gurdaspur district early this morning around 5 AM. The blast, heard within a 10-kilometre radius, forced frightened villagers out of their homes. Upon inspection, a massive crater about 40 feet wide and 15 feet deep was discovered in local fields.Residents reported hearing five consecutive explosions, strong enough to shatter windows in nearby homes.
