Bilaspur, November 4, 2025 — At least four people were killed and several others injured after a MEMU passenger train collided with a stationary goods train near Bilaspur railway station in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday afternoon. The collision occurred around 4 p.m. when the MEMU train, traveling from Gevra in Korba district to Bilaspur, rammed into the goods train from behind between Gatora and Bilaspur stations, officials confirmed.Bilaspur Collector Sanjay Agrawal said four deaths have been confirmed so far, while two passengers remain trapped in the wreckage.
