Israeli Embassy Staffers Fatally Shot Outside Washington D.C. Jewish Museum in Suspected Hate Crime

Washington, D.C., May 22, 2025: Two staff members of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C., were fatally shot on the evening of May 21 while exiting an event at the Capital Jewish Museum . The victims, identified as Yaron Lischinsky, an Israeli citizen, and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, an American, were a couple reportedly on the verge of engagement  .The suspect, Elias Rodriguez, a 30-year-old from Chicago, was apprehended at the scene .
