Mathura (Uttar Pradesh), October 18, 2025: In a historic event coinciding with Dhanteras, the treasury of the famous Banke Bihari Temple in Mathura was opened on Saturday after 54 years. Vrindavan, April 6, 2025 — A Canara Bank officer was arrested Saturday after being caught on CCTV allegedly stealing around ₹10 lakh from donation boxes at the revered Banke Bihari temple in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh.The accused, Abhinav Saxena, a resident of Rampur currently living in Mathura, was nabbed during the monthly donation count.
