Chandigarh, March 4, 2025 – The Punjab State Women's Commission has taken serious note of allegations of molestation and harassment against Pastor Bajinder Singh and has sought his response by March 6, 2025.Invoking the Punjab State Women's Commission Act, 2001, the Commission reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and stressed that the case directly concerns the safety and dignity of women. Chairperson Raj Lali Gill urged the Punjab Government and relevant authorities to ensure strict action is taken.The allegations have sparked widespread outrage, with women’s organizations and social activists condemning the incident and calling for severe punishment for the accused.
