Jammu: In a dramatic operation that lasted nearly 10 hours, the Indian Army’s Aviation Corps rescued 27 security personnel who were stranded due to flash floods in the border belt of Jammu district on Thursday. The incident took place in the Jourian area of Akhnoor after floodwaters from the swollen Chenab River inundated a camp.
