Islamabad, October 12, 2025: Salman Iqbal, the long-serving coach of Pakistan’s premier javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem, has been banned for life by the Pakistan Amateur Athletics Federation (PAAF) for allegedly violating the constitution of the Punjab Athletics Association, where he holds the position of President.The lifetime ban bars Iqbal from participating in any athletics activities, including coaching or holding office at any level.
