Amritsar, November 23, 2025: A major drug smuggling attempt was foiled in the border village of Mode in Amritsar after the BSF recovered heroin worth ₹6 crore. According to officials, smugglers attempted to send the consignment through a drone, but due to an incorrect drop location, the packet landed in an area closely monitored by the BSF.The BSF Amritsar Sector team immediately seized the packet during routine surveillance.
