FIR against Congress MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring over casteist remarks on Buta Singh

National Times Bureau :- An FIR has been registered against Punjab Congress chief and Ludhiana MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring in Kapurthala over his remarks about former Union Home Minister late Buta Singh. The case was filed after Buta Singh’s son, Sarabjot Singh Sidhu, lodged a complaint with the police. Raja Warring has been booked under Sections 353 and 196 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) along with Sections 3(1)(u) and 3(1)(v) of the SC/ST Act. Earlier on Monday, state finance minister Harpal Cheema warned that significant legal action would be taken against Warring.
