National Times Media :- Tension gripped Gaggomahal village in Ajnala after a youth was allegedly assaulted by a group of men. The victim, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, sustained multiple injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is currently undergoing treatment. According to local sources, the incident took place late evening when the youth was confronted and beaten with sticks and bare hands. Villagers gathered at the spot as the situation turned chaotic, following which the injured youth was immediately shifted to the hospital. Police have reached the village and begun an investigation.
