Kochi (Rajeev Sharma): An Air India Express flight en route from Saudi Arabia to Kerala was forced to change course on Thursday after a mechanical concern was reported during the final phase of the journey. The aircraft, which had departed Jeddah for Kozhikode with about 160 passengers on board, was redirected to Kochi as a safety measure. Officials at Cochin International Airport confirmed that the diversion was prompted by a suspected malfunction involving the aircraft’s landing gear.
