Air India Resumes Direct Delhi–Rome Flights After Six Years

New Delhi (Gurpreet Singh): After nearly six years, Air India has restarted its non-stop service between Delhi and Rome, strengthening its presence in Europe and reconnecting the two capitals. The airline launched a four-times-a-week direct service to Rome Fiumicino Airport, making Rome its eighth destination in mainland Europe and second in Italy after Milan. Flight AI123 departed Delhi at 1:32 pm on March 25 and landed in Rome the same evening. The return flight reached Delhi the next morning.
