Chandigarh, September 24 – The Election Commission of India has announced that the bypoll to fill the vacant Rajya Sabha seat from Punjab will take place on October 24, with counting of votes scheduled the same day.The vacancy was created after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjeev Arora resigned from the Upper House earlier this year.
